Geotechnical Simulations with Moose

By enabling massively parallel multiphysics simulation the open-source, finite element framework Moose (mooseframework.inl.gov) can also be used for geotechnical design practice. To facilitate the use of FEM with Moose in geotechnics, I started writing a white paper to collect information and techniques suitable for creating such geotechnical simulations with Moose. The main focus is on quasi-static simulations.

The whitepaper (provided as a free PDF) collects information and source code for geotechnical simulations with the software Moose. This document is primarily intended as a collection of information and examples rather than a textbook or step-by-step guide. As such, it is intended to be a ’living’ document that will be continually edited and updated.

The whitepaper is hosted on Github:

But there is more in the context of Moose!
